A job is a trigger, conditions and an ordered list of actions, set up under Customization › Orchestration in the admin; jobs were called hooks before the module was renamed, and the API's routes keep that name. What starts a job, what it can do, branches and loops, email, scheduled work, integrations with other systems, and every event and action.

Sending email from a job: what Send mail queues, templates for the body, deliverability and testing.

How a job's email is sent comes first: the model a send is built from, what a successful action proves and does not prove, and the rules that differ between a transactional message and a bulk one. Three worked emails follows with bodies rendered from template files in the theme repository: an order receipt, a completion email linking to a generated certificate, the platform's password reset, and what to send instead of an attachment.

Deliverability, tracking and safe testing closes the unit: the checks that keep a first send out of spam, reading opens and clicks back from the mailer's own records, and testing an email flow without writing to a real customer.
