MCP Server 2.1.0

What’s new in Core dna MCP Server 2.1.0

Languages, currencies and safer edits

Agents can write product descriptions in each language and prices in each currency, translate pages, posts and FAQs, and every partial edit now starts from the live version.

Key highlights

  • Languages and currencies: descriptions per language and prices per currency, for products, variants and categories.
  • Edits keep the live content: a partial edit always starts from the live version of a record.
  • Product and category pages: set the layout and content of a product description or a category page.
  • Back-in-stock jobs from chat: new trigger events and actions for expressions of interest.

Languages and currencies

Agents can now write a product, variant or category description in each language the site supports, and set prices in each currency. Edits to one language leave the others unchanged, product lists show which languages and prices a product has, and pages, blog posts, blogs, FAQs and book pages can be translated.

Try asking
  • Add a Spanish version of the Stroke Awareness Course with a short description in Spanish.
  • Put the ACLS Certification course on sale in Brazil: special price 159 reais.
  • Which of our products don't have a Spanish page yet, and which can't be bought in Brazilian reais?

A save can no longer delete the other languages or prices. The default language and currency cannot be removed, and a language that the site does not support is refused.

Edits keep the live content

  • A partial edit now always starts from the live version of a page, post or record, never from a newer unpublished version.
  • Updating part of the SEO settings, such as only the description, keeps the title and the other fields.
  • Replacing a whole component in a collection replaces it.

Product and category pages

Agents can set the layout and the content of a product description and of a category page. Changing one area keeps the others and makes the new version live, and the edit tool works on products and categories too.

Back-in-stock jobs from chat

  • New trigger events: abandoned cart, back in stock (products and variants) and new expression of interest.
  • Retrieve Records and Update Record actions work with expressions of interest, so a back-in-stock email job can be built end to end.
  • A job is published only after its triggers are saved.

Other improvements and bug fixes

  • Expressions of interest (back-in-stock requests) can be listed, for example the pending ones for one product.
  • "Contains" filters match the text literally: _ and % are no longer wildcards.
  • Custom field values sent inside data now go through the safe path, image and file fields included.
  • A new condition keeps its description and its position.
