What’s new in Core dna Platform 2026.2

Form Payments, Invoice Refunds and Bug Fixes

Forms can take payments through Stripe, PayPal and PayPal Donate, and paid invoices can be refunded from the admin.

Key highlights

  • Payments in forms: take a payment with Stripe, PayPal or PayPal Donate as part of a form.
  • Invoice refunds: refund a paid invoice, in full or in part, from the admin.

Changes in behaviour

  • Forms with a Payment element record a submission as complete only once the payment succeeds, so jobs that act on completed submissions see paid ones only.

Payments in forms

Forms can now include a Payment element, so visitors pay as part of submitting the form, with Stripe, PayPal or PayPal Donate. In the form builder, the element sets the currency, fixed amounts or a custom amount, and the payment methods to offer, chosen from those set up for invoices. A declined or failed payment shows as a validation error, and the submission is not recorded as complete until the payment succeeds.

The element needs at least one active payment method; without one, it shows nothing on the site.

Invoice refunds

A paid invoice can now be refunded from the admin. Open the invoice and choose Refund Invoice: the refundable line items are filled in, the total is calculated and limited to what is still available to refund, and the refund is processed at the payment gateway, in full or in part.

Other improvements and bug fixes

  • Fixed an error that could occur in the Merge Files hook action when a referenced filename had no associated file.
