Platform 2026.2.2

What’s new in Core dna Platform 2026.2.2

Faster Billable Requests, Smarter Cache Purging and Bug Fixes

The Billable Requests page is much faster, and smart cache purging clears only the environments affected.

Key highlights

  • A faster Billable Requests page that no longer times out on accounts with many environments.
  • Smarter cache purging: smart mode clears only the cached responses that depend on a changed record.

Changes in behaviour

  • Settings precedence: a site's .settings.json file now takes precedence over settings saved in the admin. A value saved in the admin to override the file now loses to it, so check the file for old values.

A faster Billable Requests page

The Billable Requests page now loads quickly on accounts with many environments: requests are gathered from the log service in one batched query instead of one per environment, and the date filter is a simple month and year selector.

Smarter cache purging

In smart mode, the default Cache clear mode of the Global settings, a change to a record now clears only the cached responses that depend on it. When nothing cached depends on the record, nothing is cleared, so unrelated environments and resource types stay cached. Purge mode still clears everything, and manual mode never clears on its own.

Other improvements and bug fixes

  • User-group selectors in the permissions screens and user configuration now load groups on demand, keeping these dropdowns responsive on accounts with many groups.
  • Per-site settings files now take precedence over settings saved in the admin, so sysadmin-controlled overrides are no longer silently undone.
  • Resolved an issue where PayPal could reject invoice updates with a duplicate invoice ID error. Invoice IDs sent to PayPal are now prefixed to ensure uniqueness across the merchant account.
  • Fixed an issue where committing or rolling back a site could create duplicate admin menu entries due to mismatched menu element identifiers.
  • Fixed an issue where hooks could not filter blog posts by title because the title field was not recognized in the criteria configuration.
  • Fixed validation on record-type custom field values, which previously rejected valid numeric record IDs while accepting invalid non-numeric values.
